1996 - Disney buys out Turner, outbidding Time Warner, not including Cartoon Network. Disney buys ABC. The Funtastic World of Hanna-Barbara closes at Universal Studios Florida and is moved to Walt Disney World.
1997 - Disney buys Cartoon Network. Toonami begins airing on Cartoon Network. CNN is rebranded to ABC News Channel. Disney Channel begins airing Playhouse Disney.
1998 - Disney rebrands Cartoon Network to Toon Disney.
2002 - Toonami becomes Jetix. Disney buys 4Kids Entertainment.
2005 - Jetix splits off into its own 24-hour channel separate from Disney Channel.
2009 - Jetix becomes Disney XD. Jetix moves back to Toon Disney.
2010 - Playhouse Disney becomes Disney Junior.
